Product Photography: Epilepsy Society, Chalfont St Giles

CLIENT: Epilepsy Society
JOB TYPE: Product photography
JOB DETAILS: Create a range of images for promotional use across various platforms.

The National Society for Epilepsy is an incredible charity making a real impact on the lives of those affected by epilepsy. It was a privilege to work with them. Their brief was to capture a range of images featuring staff and residents against a simple white background with props. These images would be used across promotional platforms for their ‘Purple Day’ celebrations and fundraising events, aimed at raising global awareness of epilepsy.

It was a pleasure working with such a great group, many of whom were new to being photographed. Their enthusiasm made the shoot enjoyable. A delightful surprise came when an employee brought their dogs, who quickly became the stars, bringing unexpected joy and energy to the set.

We approached the shoot with a clear plan, working through the planned looks and poses, while leaving room for creativity. I always tell clients that it’s important to experiment with different styles during the session and decide later what works best. It’s better to explore options in the moment than to regret not trying something later.

The results were fantastic, and I’m sure you’ll agree that we captured a great variety of shots throughout the day. This selection is just a small sample of the final delivered gallery, which included 407 carefully curated individual images, all designed to represent the warmth, diversity, and spirit of the National Society for Epilepsy’s mission.
